Kary Van Kirk
April 27, 2019 - 7:00pm
Mary Lane April 27 Concert Flyer
This is a return visit for Kray and we can't wait. THe is a troubadour with storied lyrics and exceptional finger-style guitar. He enthralled our audience the last time and have even more stories and songs to share. If you ask someone about Kray Van Kirk's music, comparisons to John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Richard Thompson, or Dougie MacLean will come up. He has played festival stages in front of thousands and coffee shop corners for only a handfull of listeners, but feels most at home playing house concerts and small stages where he can listen to his audiences and hear their stories. Nathan and Jessie
June 22, 2013 -7:00pm
Start with two resonator guitars and effortless vocal harmonies in a variety of languages; add some accordion, clarinet, and tambourine; top with a repertoire of original and cover songs that evoke Gypsy jazz and Parisian cafés; and what you’ve got is the delightful duo of Nathan and Jessie. A fusion of gypsy bluesy jazzy folk with the result often a trip back to the hallowed halls of Django and Parisian boulevards.
Together, these two make for an unforgettable performance! The duo has traveled all over the world sharing their music on streets and stages with their unique sound. Their performances unlike any other. Their musical performances are full of dynamics, beautiful melodies mixed with swinging rhythms and a fun carefree attitude perfect for Mary Lane House Concerts.
